General Information
All the logistics behind our weekly classes — where and when we meet, how dropoff and pickup works, and how to reach us if you have any questions.
Time and Date:
Our math league typically meets weekly in person on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. You will be notified by email if there are any changes to the schedule.
Location:
We will be using rooms 601 (Infinity class), 603 (Integral class), 605 (Power class), and 308 (Factorial class) on the CVMS campus.
Dropoff and Pickup:
The only gate for students to leave at 8pm is the gate by the gym. Parents can wait at the Administration parking lot. No parents or siblings are allowed on campus during 6:30–8pm.

Rules:
No one should enter the classroom until the parent volunteer for that room is present. Please also leave the room as you found it — chairs pushed back in, trash collected, and any borrowed pencils replaced, etc.
Class Information

Class Placement:
Our coaches will conduct a placement test in order to find out the right level of challenge for our students. The exam will be held in-person during our first class. Students must bring their Chromebooks, as they may have to use them to submit their exams. If you are unable to take the exam, please email us.
Class Program:
Most classes, our coaches will deliver a short lecture on a new topic followed by problem-solving practice. The problem-solving sessions will allow students to apply what they've learned and develop their critical thinking skills. Other classes, we will have friendly class competitions to prepare students for competitive environments.
Factorial is our beginner-friendly class, and no prior competition experience is required. Coaches guide students through core fundamentals like basic algebra and logical thinking, while gradually introducing them to the problem-solving mindset that makes math exciting.
Power is ideal for students who excel in school math and are curious about what lies beyond the standard curriculum. This class bridges the gap between classroom math and competition math, introducing students to creative problem-solving strategies and mathematical reasoning.
Integral is designed for students who have some exposure to competitive math and are ready to take the next step. Topics include intermediate algebra, counting and probability, and basic geometry. Students who have taken the AMC 8 or are preparing for the AMC 10 will find this class to be the perfect challenge.
Infinity is our most advanced class. Students dive deep into topics such as advanced algebra, Euclidean geometry, combinatorics, and number theory. Students are expected to have a solid foundation in competitive math and the drive to tackle challenging problems.
